We wanted to celebrate our anniversary somewhere close to home, cozy, and with good food. We had been to Rendez-Vous before in the past, so this place came top of mind with those criteria in play. Made a reservation for 6:45pm on a Thursday, but it turned out not to be necessary as they had plenty of available seating when we arrived. For our appetizer, we chose the Quiche Lorraine. The quiche was stuffed with bacon, ham and Swiss cheese, and served with a side of salad with pickle. It was a good-sized portion, so we shared it between the two of us. For my entree, I opted for a Steak and Fries. They were very generous with the fries, and the steak was clearly a sirloin cut due to all the tough connective tissues I found in my meat. I opted for medium rare as I always do, and the cook thankfully came out perfect. If I do choose to order steak again in a future visit, I will most likely choose the Ribeye instead. My wife went with the Shrimp Risotto for her entree, and she seemed to really enjoy it. For dessert, we had the Crepe Tatin. My wife asked if they could do a chocolate drizzle instead of a caramel drizzle, and they happily obliged without any fuss. Every meal at Rendez-Vous thus far has been enjoyable, and we look forward to continuing our patronage for years to come.

This place has been a favorite of ours for quite some time! Absolutely delicious authentic French food at reasonable prices. The sole meunière is SO delicious and the onion soup is a must have every time I visit. The staff and owner are very attentive and friendly. Very cute decor as well.

We love this place. The food is always excellent and a good value. I love the 29.00 deal. It comes with your choice of appetizer, entree, and a dessert. The sole is super. It feels like your eating at a French cafe. Love it.

Nina and I had lunch here today. We knew we wanted the mussels and fries. They had a $22 Bistro special which included a glass of wine but neither of us wanted wine, so we opted for the $20 mussels and fries off the regular menu. I got English Breakfast tea and Nina got chai to drink, each w/ its own little carafe, the tea cups inverted to act as lids while the tea steeped. The mussels were amazing: plump, tasty and plentiful. We both enjoyed them so much! There was an abundance of garlic, making the mussels and accompanying croutons incredibly flavorful. The fries were excellent too. It was a marvelous lunch in a comfortable booth w/ great company. It doesn't get much better than that.
